So, I was looking up Dishonored’s wiki and there’s a page that has the names of every Whaler you can summon as Daud. What it didn’t have was an indication of which were Master Assassins and which were Novices. It’s useful information for me, so I decided to figure it out. Keeping it here as reference.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!
Gimme.
…I’ve become the kind of person who looks at this and goes “Damn, I’ve gotta incorporate some of that into my core workout. So many muscle groups targeted at once!”
yeah that’s uh… that’s exactly… where my mind… went…
IT’S INCREDIBLY HELPFUL AND CAN FOR INSTANCE GENERATE TOPICS AND FIRST LINES, CONTAINS LOADS OF EXERCISES AND YOU CAN FIND PLENTY OF WRITING TIPS.
BLESS YOU I LOVE YOU OH MY GODS I’VE NEEDED THIS
Have you ever wanted to answer over 300 questions about your characters in a row? Now you can! Using questions from Charahub, OC Surveys and a bunch of miscellaneous ask memes, I have compiled a list of 338 (I added one) questions for you to answer about your characters, in a simple copy/paste format so you can put them all on your own blog too. Because why wait for people to ask about your OCs when you can just ask all of the questions yourself? Worth it. I’ll also be updating it with more questions when I find interesting ones, so check back every so often!
Get the questions yourself >HERE<! I’d appreciate a reblog of this post or credit on the page if you use this list, but I don’t really mind either way.
me: *deletes fucking everything off my phone*
phone: your storage is almost full
When you delete things off of a mobile device (like a phone or digital camera), the file goes to your phone’s recycle bin (just like on a desktop computer or laptop), typically an invisible folder named .trashes or .trash. There, it continues to take up the same amount of memory storage as it did before you ‘deleted’ it. To empty your mobile device’s recycling bin, plug your phone into your desktop or laptop via USB as a memory device, right click on your desktop/laptop’s recycling bin/trash, and tell it to empty your recycling bin/empty trash. Your computer will empty all .trash/.trashes folders, including the one on your phone, actually deleting the files permanently this time, freeing up your phone/camera’s memory space. Reblog to save a life.
(I know this works on MAC with my Andriod, it’s not too far a stretch to do the same on Windows and/or with other phones as well. In fact, it should be easier to do on Windows since Windows Explorer is more conducive to finding hidden folders.)
REBLOG TO SAVE A LIFE
FINDING THIS RANDOM POST ON MY DASHBOARD GAVE ME THE BEST ANSWER TO SHIT I’VE BEEN GOOGLING ABOUT FOR MONTHS!!!
Every artist who sees this post should do the following:
- Watch the video.
- Follow the instructions
- Reblog
I can’t stress you enough about how important these exercises are for your drawing hand. You don’t wanna get CTS of Tendonitis and similar stuff that will prevent you from making art or even hold a pencil.
Okay, this guy is my HERO. I just did these exercises as I watched the video, and already my arms and hands feel better. I have a degenerative tendon disease that prevents my muscles, tendons and ligaments from retaining their elasticity, and so anything that maintains the health of my bendy parts is important.
I URGE YOU. Even if you don’t draw, do these several times a day. Even just sitting at a computer can do serious damage. My dad, who was a rugby player, a carpenter, and now a handyman, suffered from severe carpal tunnel syndrome, simply as a result of sitting at the computer at the end of the day to play a little solitaire. Don’t let it happen to you!
((Guys, I will reblog this like, 5 times a day just so you all will see this. This is REALLY helpful, and it’s quick and easy.))
Wow, these are REALLY helpful. And yes, this is not just good but IMPORTANT for more than artists — if you type a lot, play a lot of video games, do anything that requires lots of repetitive movements of your hands, wrists, and arms (gardening, sewing, factory work), these can help. Even if you don’t yet get pain these are a great preventative measure, because the damage builds up over time. Youth is no protection.
And like he says, you should feel a stretch, but don’t push it too far!
Signal boosting. Guys, I just did this and holy cow do I feel incredibly light and limber in my arms. Again, even if you don’t have any sort of disease, do this as a preventative measure.
DEAR LORD THIS FELT WONDERFUL THANK YOU SO MUCH TO omfg-am-i-hallucinating-again FOR SENDING THIS TO ME
I have pretty f’d up tendinitis and this felt awesome.
Since I noticed that I RARELY draw backgrounds I decided to do a 30 day background challenge!!!!!
I hope Darla and Stacy (the girls walking) will keep me motivated to do this! Please lazyness don’t overcome me!
If you would like to join me on my challenge please do so I would love to see your pieces!!!
I might give this a try! Everyone could use more background practice.
i plan on doing this, backgrounds are my greatest weakness

Tuesday Tips - Floating Hands
I use this a lot when storyboarding a first pass of a sequence. Placing hands in the right, most appealing position can be tricky. In order to create a clear silhouette for the hands, I often draw them “floating in the air”. Then, using my general knowledge of anatomy, I just “fill in the arms”. This way I can create a much more expressive and clear pose than if I was just radiating out of the torso. That’s when structure and anatomy can get in the way of a clear message. And hands carry a lot of meaning, so I want to make them as clear as possible for my audience to see them.
I would say the same applies to life drawing. Since they often don’t carry the body weight (legs most often do), I feel like i can take the freedom of changing their position slightly to make a better visual statement.
-nYay! I’m not the only one doing that!
